- Harborfields seniors receive proclamations for state selections. 11 Harborfields High School seniors were awarded proclamations who had been selected last year for the American Legion Boys State and American Legion Auxiliary Girls State summer leadership and citizenship programs, according to the school district. New York State Assemblyman Steve Stern visited Harborfields High School on Nov. 22 to present the proclamations. (Huntington Patch)
- ICYMI: Kenneth Butterfield, former Huntington town supervisor, dies at 87. Former Town of Huntington Supervisor Kenneth Butterfield passed away on Nov. 14. The democrat served as town supervisor for 8 years, first being elected in 1975. Former town clerk Jo-Ann Raia (R) remembered Butterfield and said, “He was a no-nonsense supervisor with a big smile and soft voice. He made his mark on Huntington.” (Newsday)
- Inna Gellerman celebrates 18 years of Huntington orthodontics. Gellerman Orthodontics recently celebrated 18 years of serving Long Island. The practice has given Huntington healthy smiles and a commitment to the community, focusing on education, families, and women’s health, all from a women-owned business. “The past 18 years have been amazing, from the people who’ve become family in the practice to the amazing individuals who I’ve met through so many community groups,” said Dr. Inna Gellerman."
