Huntington Man Dies After Medical Episode, Crash In Dix Hills: Police
Police believe the 54-year-old suffered a medical episode before his SUV left Dix Hills Road late Wednesday night.
DIX HILLS, NY — A Huntington man died after police believe he suffered a medical episode before crashing his SUV in Dix Hills late Wednesday night, Suffolk County police said.
Matthew Adcock, 54, was driving a 2016 Ford Edge northbound on Dix Hills Road, just south of Hren Court, when the SUV left the roadway at about 11:25 p.m., police said.
The Ford struck a fence and a large hedge, according to police. Detectives believe Adcock experienced a medical episode before the crash.

Adcock was taken to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The Ford was impounded for a safety check.
