Huntington Named Long Island Boys Winter Track and Field Team of the Year
Leading the way for the Blue Devils was Infinite Tucker, who was unanimously chosen as USATF Long Island's Athlete of the Year.

Huntington High School Boys Winter Track and Field was selected as the Long Island Track and Field Team of the Year based on the team’s stellar winter track season.
Huntington’s team is stacked with phenomenal athletes, including senior Infinite Tucker, who was unanimously chosen as USATF Long Island’s Athlete of the Year.

- Kyree Johnson in the 55-meter dash
- Lawrence Leake in the 300-meter dash
- Infinite Tucker in the 55-meter hurdles
- Huntington’s 4x400 meter relay
Huntington’s head coach Ron Wilson was also recognized as Coach of the Year at a Long Island Track and Field brunch in February.
The team has a long list of accomplishments: Huntington returned from the New York State Indoor Track & Field Championships at Cornell University in Ithaca earlier this month with two gold medals and two silver medals. The team finished their season as New Balance Indoor Nationals champions in the the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:16.09.
Representatives from the Nassau and Suffolk County Track Coaches Association, NSCHSSA and USATF Long Island reviewed performances throughout the winter track season to select a single team to receive this honor.
