Huntington Police Blotter: 2 Drug Busts Completed

A third person who police say sold crack cocaine was also arrested and charged.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Check out some of the recent arrests made in the Huntington area, from Feb. 23 through Feb. 29.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Bernaldo Fernandez, 37, of Huntington Station, was driving a 2006 Toyota Scion north at the intersection of Depot Road and Pulaski Road in Huntington Station when he hit a car driving east on East Pulaski Road, damaging the other car, police said. Fernandez drove off without reporting the crash, police said. He was arrested and charged with operator leave scene of property damage accident on Feb. 29.
  • John Sallitto, 58, of Huntington Station, was found, during the execution of a search warrant, to have crack cocaine packaged in a manner consistent with narcotics sales, crack cocaine weighing more than half an ounce, Alprazolam, Zolpidem Tartrate packaged in a way consistent with sales, Alprazolam pills, Oxycodone pills, Oxycontin, Epinephrine, Naloxone, crystal meth, digital scales, cash and packaging materials, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of controlled substance: narcotic drug w/ intent to sell, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seven counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia: packaging materials and criminal use of drug paraphernalia: scales on Feb. 28.
  • Frederick Jones, 35, of Stony Brook, was found to have crack cocaine and United States currency, police said. He was arrested in Huntington and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of controlled substance on Feb. 27.
  • Louisna Raymond, 41, of Greenlawn, stole two credit cards and a debit card from someone's shopping cart in front of Community Market in Huntington Station, police said. She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: credit card on Feb. 27.
  • Michael Grodner, 55, of Huntington, was found, during the execution of a search warrant, to have crack cocaine packaged in a manner consistent with narcotics sales, more than half an ounce of crack cocaine, Alprazolam, plastic baggies and scales, police said. He was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia: scales on Feb. 26.
  • Raul Galeasnicolas, 21, of Greenwood, was driving a 2015 Chevy Camaro east on Olive Street, Huntington Station, when he crashed into boulders in front of a home, police said. Galeasnicolas did not report the crash, police said. He was arrested and charged with operator leave scene of property damage accident on Feb. 25.
