Huntington Police Blotter: Car Containing Camera Equipment Stolen
ALSO: Another car was also stolen, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Nov. 27 through Dec. 3.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Dec. 2: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on First Avenue in Huntington Station at 11 p.m. A 2009 Mercedes and the high-end camera equipment inside of it were stolen, police said. The car was locked before it was stolen, police said.
- Dec. 2: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Old Field Road in Huntington from Dec. 1 to Dec. 2. A water pump, cash, a passport and credit cards were stolen from a Jeep Wrangler Gladiator parked in a driveway, police said.
- Dec. 1: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Afton Lane in Huntington from Nov. 30 to Dec. 1. A white 2015 BMW was stolen from a driveway, police said.
- Nov. 28: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Ausurel Court in Huntington from Nov. 18 through Nov. 20. Someone was scammed into buying gift cards, police said.
