Huntington Police Blotter: Man Robbed Man In Huntington Station
ALSO: A Sherwin-Williams employee was accused of stealing paint guns and money over the course of nearly a year, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

- Aug. 28: Taquile Hamilton, 28, of Huntington Station, robbed a man on New York Avenue in Huntington Station around 2 p.m. July 28, police said. He was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery: use/threatens use of dangerous instrument.
- Aug. 28: Christian Guzman-Rivera, 28, of Brentwood, stole paint guns and money from Sherwin-Williams Paint Store while employed by the business, located at 1985 New York Ave., Huntington Station, between July 19, 2023, and June 14, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny: property value exceeds $3,000.
Incidents
- Aug. 29: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Jericho Turnpike in Huntington at 12:55 a.m. Someone broke into a Chevy-Camaro car shop, police said.
- Aug. 29: Auto-stripping (third-degree) was reported on Ninth Street in Huntington Station at 2:50 a.m. Someone stole a catalytic converter off of a vehicle parked in front of a house, police said.
