Huntington Police Blotter: Man Stabs Person, Damages Truck

ALSO: A man stole tools and electrical wires from a Home Depot, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from July 5 through July 10.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Robert Bogdanovich, 55, of Elmhurst, stole tools and electrical wires from the Home Depot at 5025 Jericho Turnpike, Commack, on the mornings of Feb. 24 and March 11, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000 on July 9.
  • Alex Patino, 44, of Huntington Station, stabbed someone in the arm and hand, causing cuts, around 6:30 p.m. July 7 at the corner of Leyden Street and Lenox Road in Huntington Station, police said. The person was brought to Huntington Hospital, police said. Patino damaged a 1999 Ford pickup truck by smashing the driver's side front window, police said. He was arrested and charged with assault w/ intent to cause physical injury w/ weapon and third-degree criminal mischief on July 7.
