Huntington Police Blotter: Man Steals 2016 Toyota

ALSO: A Huntington Station Target was stolen from twice in the span of roughly a week, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from March 27 through April 2.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Thomas Nicholas, 33, of New York, stole massage beds, Fitbits, apparel, and backpacks from Target on East Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station on March 22, police said. He was arrested and charged with five counts of fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000 on March 30.
  • Gregory Roosa, 49, of Huntington Station, stole food, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, a breast pump, monitors, camping gear, FitBits, a razor and cell phone accessories from Target on East Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station on March 30, police said. He was arrested and charged with five counts of fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000, one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and one count of petty larceny on March 30.
  • Shangel Bradshaw, 24, who is homeless, stole a 2016 Toyota from Elm Street in Huntington on March 30, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny and DWAI: combined drugs/alcohol on March 30.
