Huntington Police Blotter: Man Tried To Steal Car From Dealership

HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Feb. 5 through Feb. 11.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

• Dennis Foceri, 64, of Coram, tried to steal a 2022 Mercedes Benz from the Land Rover Huntington dealership by giving fraudulent information to the dealer at 11 a.m. on Feb. 11, police said. He was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree grand larceny: property value of more than $50,000, three counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument, one count of first-degree false instrument: intent to defraud, one count of first-degree falsifying business records, and one count of second-degree forgery on Feb. 11.
• Tosh Newsom, 39, of Coram, was accused of helping to provide the documents that Dennis Foceri, 64, of Coram, used in his attempt to steal the 2022 Mercedes Benz from the Land Rover Huntington dealership, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree grand larceny: property value of more than $50,000 on Feb. 11.
• Mark McCall, 31, of Central Islip, was accused of helping to produce the documents that Dennis Foceri, 64, of Coram, used in his attempt to steal the 2022 Mercedes Benz from the Land Rover Huntington dealership, police said. McCall also produced a driver's license claiming to be someone else, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree grand larceny: property value of more than $50,000 and criminal impersonation on Feb. 11.
• Orlen Lopez, 30, of Huntington Station, stole a 2010 BMW off of Sherwood Drive in Huntington on Feb. 5, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny on Feb. 5.
