Huntington Police Blotter: Man Waves Kitchen Knife At Someone

The man made stabbing motions with the knife, causing the other person to fear physical injury, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from Sept. 27 through Oct. 3.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Juan Molina, 26, of Brentwood, was involved in an altercation on Lindsay Street in Huntington on Sept. 27 when he punched a man in his face, causing a cut above his right eye, police said. The man required medical attention, police said. Molina was arrested and charged with third-degree assault w/ intent to cause physical injury on Sept. 27.
  • Dolmo Sanchez, 31, of Huntington Station, waved a kitchen knife towards someone while making stabbing motions, causing them to fear physical injury, at 2 a.m. Sept. 27 on the corner of East Third Street and Fairground Avenue in Huntington Station, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing: weapon on Sept. 27.
