Voters Approve Huntington School Budget, Board Members Elected
Residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Huntington residents approved a 2017-18 school budget on Tuesday.
The $126,213,223 budget and Capital Reserve Proposition both passed, according to the school district. The budget is a 2.53 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 1.35 percent tax levy increase.
Voters also elected Jennifer Herbert and Xavier Palacios to the Huntington Board of Education.
