With a final tally of 1552 to 358 in favor, residents within the Huntington School District can expect to see a 1.62 percent increase in their collective tax levy in the following year. The budget falls within the tax levy capital limit.

With a final tally of 1,265 to 393 in favor, residents within the South Huntington School District can expect to see a 1.4.1 percent increase in their collective tax levy in the following year. The budget falls within the tax levy capital limit.
Voters also approved by 1,336 to 272 a proposition that authorizes taking $406,170 from existing capital reserve funds for improvements at Stimson Middle School, replacing lockers, refurbishing cabinets in eight science labs and refinishing a gym floor.
