Huntington School Budget Passes
The Huntington School budget passed, and William Dwyer and Michele Kustera were elected to the school board.

HUNTINGTON, NY--Huntington school district voters approved a 2019-20 school budget on Tuesday.
The $133,488,443 proposed budget was approved by a margin of 1,064-259. The budget is a 2.83 percent increase from the current year's. It's accompanied by a 2.58 percent bump in the tax levy. That is at the district's tax levy cap, so the budget only needed to be approved by a majority vote.
Bill Dwyer, a school board incumbent, was re-elected (804). Michele Kustera (966) also won a seat. The two winners ran against Joseph Mattio (570).
