Huntington Town Hall Adds Security Barrier
"This is a reasonable precaution that doesn't impede government services," Supervisor Ed Smyth said of the barrier adjacent to the desk.

HUNTINGTON, NY — A security barrier was added to Huntington Town Hall adjacent to the security desk, the town announced.
The decision was made after the town consulted with law enforcement and facility managers.
"This is a reasonable precaution that doesn’t impede government services," Town Supervisor Ed Smyth said. "It is a delicate balance between providing public access and employee and visitor safety."
