Town Of Huntington's Mask & Temperature Check Policies Ended
The policies have ended effective immediately, Supervisor Edmund Smyth says.

HUNTINGTON, NY — The mask and temperature check requirements at Huntington Town Hall have been ended, effective immediately, Supervisor Edmund Smyth announced on Wednesday. The lifted restrictions apply to all township facilities.
“Effective immediately the Town of Huntington will no longer require masks or temperature checks to enter any Town facility,” Smyth stated.
The decision was made in anticipation of the New York state mask mandate set to be lifted on Thursday for indoor public spaces. Gov. Kathy Hochul said the mask mandate will remain in schools until at least early March.
