Huntington Woman Celebrates 100th Birthday
The woman has been an active member of the Huntington community for decades, according to Senator Jim Gaughran.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Adele Gordon, a Huntington woman, celebrated her 100th birthday on Friday.
Gordon was surrounded by friends and family as she blew out the candles on three cakes shaped as a "100" to celebrate her milestone.
Senator Jim Gaughran joined the festivities, presenting her with a NYS Senate Proclamation on behalf of the New York State Senate, his office announced.

"Adele Gordon has been an active, exceptional community member in the Huntington community for decades," Gaughran stated via press release. "It was my honor to join her for a celebration of 100 years of life and present her with a Proclamation in recognition of this milestone. Happy Birthday Adele!"
