Here is what you need to know about the upcoming festivities, including the parade route and how you can win a trip to Ireland.
HUNTINGTON, NY — The Huntington Hibernians' 88th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is scheduled for March 13. The parade is scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m.
The 1.5-mile route starts on New York Avenue and continues to Main Street before making a left and ending at the Church of St. Patrick. The full Huntington parade route can be seen here.
The Huntington St. Patrick’s Parade is Long Island’s oldest and largest, and features dozens of pipe bands. The Huntington Ancient Order of Hibernians has organized and paid for the parade since 1930.

The Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 4 of Huntington, is also holding its annual Ireland raffle. $25 a ticket puts you in the drawing to see the Emerald Isle. The trip has no expiration date. An alternative cash prize of $3,000 is being offered. There are 500 tickets available. Funds raised will go back into the Huntington community.
