HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Remedy, a New York medical cannabis dispensary, officially opened for business in Huntington Station on Wednesday. The opening marks the first business of its kind in Huntington, as well as the first Remedy location on Long Island, according to a press release. Remedy can be found at 277 Walt Whitman Road.

The ribbon cutting was held at 10 a.m. with elected officials, representatives from Remedy, members of the community and patients.

Remedy Long Island will offer a selection of capsules, topical creams, vape pens/cartridges and oral tinctures. Patients can purchase up to a 30-day supply after being certified for any one of the New York State-approved medical conditions including ALS, Chronic Pain, PTSD, Epilepsy, Parkinson's Disease and more.
