Juvenile Charged In Long Island Man’s Slaying: Police
The unidentified juvenile is expected to be arraigned in the youth part of county court on Friday, Suffolk police said.
HUNTINGTON, NY — A juvenile has been arrested for the murder of Luis Cameran Rimmer-Hernandez in Huntington Station two weeks ago, Suffolk County police said.
The juvenile, whose name has not been released, will be held overnight "at a secure juvenile facility" for arraignment in the youth part of county court on Friday.
Police did not release any further details about the arrest.

Rimmer-Hernandez, 21, of Dix Hills, was found dead on Lowndes Avenue with a gunshot wound on Aug. 9, police said.
Police said officers responded to Lowndes Avenue after a 911 caller reported hearing gunshots in the street just before 11 p.m., and when they arrived, they found Rimmer-Hernandez “lying in the street with a gunshot wound.”

He was transported to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
