Last Chance: 12 Monkeys at Cinema Arts Centre

This week: A special showing of "12 Monkeys" at the Cinema Arts Centre Thursday.

Part psychological thriller, part apocalyptic drama, Terry Gilliam’s 1995 riveting drama combines intricate storytelling, visual ingenuity, and stellar performances. 

Join Helio Takai of Brookhaven National Laboratory, and the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, for an entertaining and mindblowing journey into the possibility of time travel, with dazzling detours through the structure of matter, the mysteries of dark matter, dark energy, and the fourth demension; followed by a screening of Terry Gilliam’s trippy tale of an ordinary man from 2035 who is recruited to travel back in time to prevent a deadly plague.

Ticket price: $9 for members, $13 for general public which includes reception.
