BStrong's current focus is finding ways to help the Ukrainians deal with their current crisis.

"I planned this concert because the people in Ukraine need help," Charlize told Patch. "I see the news and the pictures of the kids crying because their dads can not leave with them. I can’t imagine having to leave without my daddy or brothers. I see how sad everyone is, I see their homes and cities destroyed. I worry about where everyone will live after leaving their homes. I want to have this concert so that we can raise money to help them. It’s very important to me to at least try to do something to help them. We need to help them."

The Paramount NY has donated space, and Charlize was able to line up several singers for the event, including Sal "The Voice" Valentinetti. Valentinetti won the golden buzzer on "America's Got Talent."

One of the songs that Charlize herself will be singing is “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” as a song of hope and wishing for better days.

The Paramount NY is at 370 New York Ave., Huntington.
