Lindsay Lohan, LI Native, Expecting 1st Child

DUBAI — Lindsay Lohan, a Long Island native, is having her first child, she announced Tuesday afternoon on Instagram. She married her husband, Bader Shammas, last year.

Lohan was raised in Cold Spring Harbor and Merrick and moved to Dubai several years ago, Newsday reported.

"We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!" Lohan told TMZ.

Lohan, 36, is an actress and singer who has starred in "The Parent Trap," "Freaky Friday," and "Mean Girls," among others.
