Local Author Visiting Huntington Book Revue
The book shares 25 stories about Long Island's past, ranging from the North and South Shores to the East End.

Janet Emily Demarest will read from her new book, “Tales from the General Store: The Legends of Long Island” at Book Revue Huntington on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m.
Demarest says she’s traded a career as a business professor to performing and educating at Old Bethpage Village Restoration. That experience, along with audience enthusiasm, inspired her to write the book.
Published in September, Demarest’s book shares 25 stories about Long Island’s past, ranging from the North and South Shores to the East End.
