Long Island Restaurant Week Comes to Huntington

Many of Huntington's restaurants will participate in Long Island Restaurant Week Nov.7-14.

If you weren't able to get to all of your favorite places during Dine Huntington Restaurant Week, you're about to get a second chance. Many local restaurants will once again offer a three-course prix fixe menu as they participate in Long Island Restaurant Week which begins this Sunday.

Now in its 5th year, Long Island Restaurant Week is designed to give new and existing customers a chance to experience each establishment's unique menu, décor and service at a bargain price. At a time when many people have cut back on dining out for economic reasons, it's an opportunity to bring in business at a typically slower time of year.  

has participated in Dine Huntington since its inception last year. According to owner Jeffrey Bies, "This year was overall a great success."  They have been part of LI Restaurant Week since its second year. "Long Island Restaurant Week is very strong, business is up 65% or more than the average at this time of year, while actual sales dollars of the restaurant week menu is only 31% of total sales." he said.

Bies added that some of the restaurants, including The Clubhouse, are planning to extend the offer into a second week.

From Sunday through Sunday, Nov. 7-14, diners can enjoy an appetizer, entrée and dessert at the fixed price of only $24.95 per person. Whether you are looking to explore new dining opportunities or enjoy old favorites, the variety of cuisines  available is sure to have something to entice every palate.

 "It's a great opportunity to showcase your restaurant to those you may not normally see." according to Bies, who views it as a totally positive experience for all involved. "It brings energy. Whether you're a small operation or large, having a crowd is a great thing; the people love it, the staff loves it, heck, New York Sales Tax people should love it!"

The following Huntington restaurants plan to participate. Advance reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the restaurant directly.
