LUPINACCI HONORS COLD SPRING HARBOR HIGH SCHOOL

Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) recently presented the Assembly of New York State’s highest honor, the proclamation, to Cold Spring Harbor High School in recognition of their recent designation as one of U.S. News and World Report’s Top 20 High Schools on Long Island. Assemblyman Lupinacci presented the proclamation to members of the Cold Spring Harbor School Board.

The selection criteria has developed over the years from a simple look at AP offerings and placements to a fuller analysis, which includes students’ performance on mandated state assessments, AP offerings, AP exam success rate, minority and economically disadvantaged subgroup performance and teacher-to-student ratio. Cold Spring Harbor School District has been repeatedly ranked in the top 1% academically in the United States and consistently receives a Triple-A Standard and Poor's bond rating.
