Lupinacci Honors Extraordinary Local Women During 2014 Women of Distinction Ceremony
On Saturday, Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) honored 13 local women as part of his 2014 Women of Distinction Ceremony.
“Our community is blessed with tremendous women who have enhanced the lives of countless residents from Long Island and beyond,” said Lupinacci. “This event provided us the chance to say ‘thank you’ to these incredible women for the vital role they play in our lives and show them how much they are appreciated. Our honorees came from all walks of life – they included mothers, grandmothers, teachers, advocates and many more. It was a shining example of the tremendous women who strengthen and support our communities and our state every day.”

The 2014 Women of Distinction honorees were Diane Berg, Lillian Brienza, Kerriann Flanagan Brosky, Ann Donegan, Donna Gurtowski, Denise Ham, Anne Lizzo, Melania Maldonado, Betty Miller, Sr. Catherine Peluso, JoAnn Pushkin, Carolyn Marie Schuler and Marguerite Vezzani.

“Once again, I want to thank those who nominated these women, and most importantly, thank these distinguished women for their continued commitment to our communities,” Lupinacci concluded.
