Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) recently joined members of the Huntington Community First Aid Squad to honor a group of first responders who rescued victims during the carbon monoxide leak at Legal Sea Foods in Huntington. The assemblyman also celebrated EMS Week by honoring Chief Thomas Lemp and Roger Winter, President of Board of Trustees.
“When our residents needed it most, the members of the Huntington Community First Aid Squad stepped up and performed admirably,” said Lupinacci. “The men and women of the department are truly dedicated to the community, and it was my pleasure to commend them during EMS week. During the incident at Legal Sea Foods, the responders showed a tremendous sense of bravery and without their quick action, the tragedy could have been far worse.”
