Lupinacci Meets with, Updates Long Island Trio

Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I – South Huntington) recently provided legislative updates for the Long Island TRIO.

Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I – South Huntington) recently attended a meeting for the Long Island Transplant Recipients International Organization (TRIO) at Stony Brook University Hospital. While there, the assemblyman provided legislative updates to the group’s members.

“The medical field is always changing, and it’s a priority of mine to keep organizations like Long Island TRIO up to date on legislation that alters the rules and regulations of medicine,” said Lupinacci. “It’s important that people receiving medical transplants are completely aware and prepared for such a serious event, and it’s our responsibility to support their families throughout the entire process. I will continue to monitor legislation that would affect the transplantation field.”

Long Island TRIO is a nonprofit organization that provides support groups to those receiving medical transplants and their families. Through TRIO, transplant candidates can receive proper information regarding tissue donation, finances, medications, transplantation, and social issues.
