LUPINACCI: SMALL BUSINESSES ARE THE HEART OF LONG ISLAND ECONOMY
Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) supports small businesses.

Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) recently welcomed and met with business owners and advocates at the New York State Capitol for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Small Business Day. Advocates from across the state met with lawmakers to urge them to keep the concerns of small businesses in mind as budget negotiations begin. Lupinacci said that the main problems hamstringing local business growth in the state are state taxes and regulations.
“Supporting local businesses has always been a top priority and I will continue the fight to assure that the voices of local business owners are heard. Our economy does not grow or create jobs without the engine of small businesses; the one thing we can do as legislators is break down the walls that prevent all small businesses from flourishing,” said Lupinacci.
Lupinacci said that small businesses are the number one employer in the nation and are the foundation of many cities and towns across the state by helping to maintain a stable local economy and further economic development.
