Man Breaks Into Suffolk Checkers, Steals Register Drawer: Police
He broke the drive-thru window and is wanted for burglary, police say.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police say broke into a Huntington Station fast food joint in April.
A man broke the drive-thru window at Checkers, at 1680 New York Ave., around 12:50 a.m. April 19 and entered the restaurant, police said. The man, who was wearing a blue Abercrombie & Fitch sweatshirt, jeans and construction boots, nabbed the cash register drawer before leaving, police said. He is wanted for burglary.
Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
