Man Seriously Injured In Huntington Station Crash

The man was driving when his truck skidded on the ice, went off the road and hit a tree, police say.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — A man was seriously injured in a one-car crash in Huntington Station on Sunday night, Suffolk police said.

A Huntington Station man, 40, was driving a 1993 Ford F-250 truck eastbound on West 11th Street, east of Oakwood Road, when the truck skidded on ice, left the roadway, and struck a tree at 9 p.m., police said.

The man was brought to Huntington Hospital in serious condition.

The Ford was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
