Man Shot And Killed In Garage Of Suffolk Home: Police

A shot was fired at a group inside the garage by a person belonging to another group, police say.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — A man was shot to death in the garage of a Huntington Station home late Wednesday night, Suffolk police said.

A group of people was in the garage of a Murdock Street home around 11:55 p.m. when a group of people, at least one of whom had a gun, walked up to the driveway, police said. The people in the garage closed the door, and a shot was fired from the driveway, through the door, striking Louis Lombardo, 28, of Dix Hills, police said.

Lombardo was pronounced dead at Huntington Hospital.
