Man Steals More Than $2K In Sunglasses In South Huntington: Police

SOUTH HUNTINGTON, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police said stole sunglasses from a South Huntington store in May.

A man stole four pairs of Chanel sunglasses from Sunglass Hut, located in the Walt Whitman Shops, at 1:30 p.m. on May 2, police said. The merchandise was valued at $2,165, police said. The man is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
