Man Stole $5,700 in Merchandise From Walt Whitman Mall Store: Police

Police are looking to identify the man who stole thousands of dollars in merchandise from a Walt Whitman Mall store this month.
According to authorities, the man stole three handbags that had a combined value of $5,700 from Saks Fifth Avenue, located at 230 Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17.
The man is wanted for grand larceny.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this theft is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
