Man, Woman Escape Fiery Car Crash in West Hills
The vehicle was completely destroyed by the blaze Sunday night, fire officials say.
A man and a woman were able to escape a crash that caused their vehicle to burst into flames Sunday night in West Hills, fire officials say.
The Huntington Manor Fire Department and Suffolk Police responded to the crash and car fire on Chichester Road near Sweet Hollow Road at 11:25 p.m. Firefighters extinguished the blaze that destroyed the car.
The driver and a passenger were taken to Huntington Hospital by Huntington Community First Aid Squad to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

About 20 firefighters responded to the scene with four trucks, which were under the direction of assistant chiefs Mike DePasquale, Jon Hoffmann and Chuck Brady.
