Motorcyclist Injured In Huntington Crash: Police

A collision involving a Jeep and a motorcycle was reported Wednesday evening on East Jericho Turnpike, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — A motorcyclist was injured following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Huntington, Suffolk County police said.

According to police, officers responded to a crash at the intersection of East Jericho Turnpike and State Place on Jan. 14 at approximately 5:09 p.m.

Police said a woman driving a 2017 Jeep was traveling eastbound on Jericho Turnpike and attempting to make a left turn into a parking lot when the vehicle collided with a westbound 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
