New Centerport Bakery to Open Its Doors Saturday

Residents are invited to attend the grand opening ceremony of a Centerport bakery on Saturday afternoon.

Starting out as a vendor at the Northport and Huntington Farmers’ Markets, Hometown Bakeshop owners Danna Abrams and Luigi Aloe have expanded their business enough to open their own store at a 2 Little Neck Road location.

Festivities begin at the store at noon. There will be a pie eating contest, giveaways, a ribbon cutting ceremony and more.

Members of the community will be in attendance, including Legislator William R. Spencer, M.D.
