NORTH BABYLON, NY — North Babylon High School celebrated the achievements of its graduating seniors during the annual Senior Scholarships and Awards Ceremony on June 9.

The ceremony recognized members of the Class of 2026 for their dedication, perseverance and accomplishments as they prepare for life after high school.

Dozens of students received scholarships presented by community organizations, local groups and memorial scholarship funds to support their future goals.

High school clubs, associations and PTAs also honored seniors for their leadership, involvement and contributions to the school community. Academic departments presented Excellence Awards to students who demonstrated strong achievement and commitment in individual subject areas.

The evening concluded with special recognition of valedictorian Teyla Lopez and salutatorian Samantha Giraldo, who were honored for earning the top academic distinctions in the Class of 2026.
