UPDATE: Police ID Man Killed in Huntington Station Construction Accident
The accident occurred shortly after 12 p.m., according to Suffolk County Police.

Suffolk County Police have identified the man who died in a construction accident at a home in Huntington Station on Monday.
Police say Julian Castellanos, a construction contractor, was at the home at 1 Crabapple Court, where he was hired to build an outside entrance for a basement apartment. Castellanos had previously built two retaining walls and was in the process of building steps when one of the walls collapsed, crushing him to death shortly after noon on Monday, police said.
Castellanos, 47, of Huntington, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other construction workers who were at the residence at the time of the incident were not injured, police said.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death. The Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration were notified.
