Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Suffolk Crash: Police
A female pedestrian was hit by a Jeep, police say.
COLD SPRING HARBOR, NY — A pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash in Cold Spring Harbor on Wednesday evening, Suffolk police said.
A 40-year-old Lloyd Harbor man was driving a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound on Shore Road, near Main Street, when he struck a female pedestrian at 6:15 p.m., police said. The pedestrian was transported to Huntington Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said. The Jeep driver was not injured.
The identity of the pedestrian was withheld by the police pending notification of her family.
