Pickup Truck Driver Hits 3 People, Drives Away: Police

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — A pickup truck driver hit three people and then drove off in Huntington Station in October, the Suffolk County Police Department said.

Three people were in front of 118 West Hills Road when they were hit by a multi-colored pickup truck being driven by a man on Oct. 13 at 4:30 a.m., police said. The man then drove off, police said. The pickup truck had a white bed with a chrome smoke stack in it.

All three people who were hit were brought to Huntington Hospital by an ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, SCPD told Patch.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
