A Picture Perfect Night at Walt Whitman Shops

For the first time, Walt Whitman Shops invites artists of all levels to grab a brush and enjoy wine and socializing during Paint Nite. Taking place on Wednesday, July 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Center Court, the event offers visitors to Walt Whitman Shops the opportunity to create an original work of art while enjoying delicious bites, wine and the social atmosphere the event fosters.

“We are so thrilled to host the first ever Paint Nite at Walt Whitman Shops,” commented Kathleen Herrmann, director of mall marketing and business development for Walt Whitman Shops. “With these events being so popular at restaurants and other venues, we felt it was the perfect activity to bring to our shoppers, who always appreciate the experience of unwinding through sharing laughs and creating memories, which in this case takes on the literal reference.”

Within the two hours, an artist will guide participants through a step-by-step process of creating an exceptional piece of art. This event is designed for those who don’t consider themselves artists or creative. Event attendees can delight in delicious samples from BRIO Tuscan Grille, as well as wine provided by Sketchbook Wines.

Space is limited to the first 40 guests who register at Simon Guest Services, located near the center’s Saks 5th Avenue wing entrance. For $40 a person, participants will enjoy food, wine and take home their canvas painting. All supplies will be provided.
