Police: Armed Men in Halloween Masks Attempt to Rob Greenlawn Bakery

Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery in Greenlawn Tuesday evening.

Police said three males wearing masks–two of them Halloween masks–entered Greenlawn Bakery, located at 11 Railroad Street at 6:52 p.m. One man was armed with a knife and another with a gun, police said. A fourth person was knocking on the side door of the bakery, police said.

One of the men grabbed the cash register, but he later dropped the register and the men fled without proceeds, police said.

No one was hurt during the incident. No arrests have been made.
