Police: Man Robbed At Huntington Station Hotel After Responding to Online Advertisement
The Huntington Station man went to the hotel to meet a woman he never met before at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

A 30-year-old Huntington Station man was robbed after police said he responded to an online advertisement and traveled to meet a woman at a nearby Huntington Station hotel on Tuesday at 3:30 a.m.
The man met Destiny Shepard, 21, of Central Islip, for the first time at the Rodeway Inn, located at 270 W Jericho Turnpike, when three men entered the room, threatened the victim and stole $400 from him.
The victim fled the scene and called police.

Shepard and the three men were still in the room when police arrived.
All four of them were arrested and charged with second degree robbery:

- Destiny Shepard, 21, of Central Islip
- Timothy Clark, 22, of Central Islip
- Gerone Garcia, 19, of Central Islip
- Mario Malpica, 21, of Central Islip
They were arraigned Thursday.
