Police: Man Stole 800 Pounds of Cooking Oil in Huntington
The incident occurred Friday morning.

A Staten Island man was arrested after authorities caught him stealing approximately 800 pounds of used cooking oil from two Huntington businesses Friday morning, police said.
Two officers were on patrol when they saw Joskey Henry, 36, removing the cooking oil from a holding container in the rear of 821 New York Ave. at 6 a.m., police said.
The location is where New York Pizza and New China Restaurant deposit their used oil into a container, which is owned by Darling International, a recycling company based in New Jersey.

Henry’s vehicle was impounded and he was charged with one count of petty larceny.
The investigation is continuing.
