Police Seeking Driver Involved In Fatal Suffolk Hit-And-Run
A woman was killed early Saturday, police say. Detectives are looking for the driver and posted a video of the vehicle they say hit her.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Suffolk police are looking for the driver involved in a fatal Huntington Station hit-and-run on Saturday, officials said.
Bernarda Fernandez, 49, of Huntington Station, was crossing Jericho Turnpike at Oakwood Road when she was struck by a Jeep Cherokee traveling westbound on Jericho Turnpike at 3:49 a.m. Saturday, police said. Fernandez was pronounced dead at Huntington Hospital.
The Jeep driver drove away northbound on Oakwood Road, police said.
