Police: Suspect Arrested for Shooting Huntington Station Man
The Holbrook man was arrested Thursday.
A Holbrook man was arrested Thursday for shooting a 21-year-old in Huntington Station on Saturday, July 18, police said.
Philander White, 26, was arrested at the intersection of Route 454 and Broadway in Holbrook at 1:40 p.m. and was charged with assault.
On Saturday, July 18, the victim Luis Hernandez was found lying in the street after police said he was shot in the leg while he was in front of a 11th Avenue residence at 8:15 p.m.

Hernandez was taken to Huntington Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
