Stony Brook's Staller Center Honors Recital

Third Place Co-Winners Receive Medals

The Suffolk Piano Teachers Foundation (SPTF) will honor Natalia Giunta, eleventh grader at Comsewogue High School in Port Jefferson Station as Third Place Co-Winner, along with Britney Bourdeau, eighth grader at Longwood Junior High School in Middle Island, of the late intermediate division at the Honors Recital and Awards Ceremony to be held at Stony Brook University's Staller Center Recital Hall on Thursday, June 2, at 5pm and 7:30pm.

As a third place co-winners, Natalia and Britney will receive their medals and certificates. Natalia performed Tarantella in a minor by A. Pieczonka, and Britney performed Scotch Poem, Op.31, No.2 by E. MacDowell at the March competition. Both Natalia and Britney are students of SPTF Vice President, Johanna Kosak.

SPTF wishes to honor Barry Tognolini and thank Steinway Gallery of Long Island for their generous cash award donations for all first place winners of the five-level competition. SPTF is a non-profit organization. Honors recitals are free and open to the public.
