Chapin Rainbow Stage in Heckscher Park, Huntington. Produced by the Town of Huntington, presented by the Huntington Arts Council

Sunday, July 5 – We are honored to welcome back the Grammy nominated saxophonist, bandleader, and composer, Ravi Coltrane. This year marks the 50th anniversary of John Coltrane’s “A Love Supreme” and we are delighted to celebrate his legacy.

Free workshops will occur throughout the day from 11am to 5:30 pm with the normal evening performance at 8:30pm. The workshops will include music improvisation, drumming, electronic music beats, and rap jam sessions that the public could take part in all day. Before the evening performance the Huntington Arts Council will have a local radio personality host a preconcert conversation with Ravi Coltrane himself at 7:30 pm. As the evening performance, The Ravi Coltrane Quartet will grace the stage for a wonderful celebration of music in honoring the legacy of John Coltrane.
