Donald Trump Fires Up Long Island Supporters
The Republican presidential frontrunner spoke to more than 1,000 people gathered in Patchogue Thursday.

Donald Trump spoke at a fundraiser for the Suffolk County Republican Party Thursday evening in Patchogue.

Below is Patch footage from outside the event, where many gathered to protest Trump's appearance, which was just down the road from where Ecuadorean immigrant Marcelo Lucero was stabbed to death in a hate crime in 2008.
